completing the training and passing the category C

test pass result.
DVLA will
the automatically issue a new licence to your address (as
shown on your licence). It will automatically show Category
C+E ‘Provisional’ entitlement.
Once this
arrives with you, you are ready
(if you wish) to progress to the next stage, which is
Category C+E (Artic). Their is no waiting period
between licences, you just simply need to receive the licence
back from DVLA with ‘Provisional’ C+E added.
Category C+E (Artic) training / Please note that we
provide a modern Volvo tractor unit and full size trailer
for the training. This ensures that you have learned to
drive, reverse & couple / un-couple on a vehicle you are
most likely to drive after the test.
Note / Some companies provide Category C+E training
but do the training in a Drawbar outfit’ – whilst this will
provide you with a full C+E licence, it will not give you
the knowledge to drive or reverse articulated vehicles.
